Pale grey-green cabinetry runs the perimeter with a white island at the centre, which keeps the room bright without going entirely white. A skylight carries daylight across the oak floors for most of the day.
Zellige-style square tile forms the backsplash, its uneven glaze catching the light differently along each wall. Two white dome pendants sit over the island and woven-back stools tuck under it.
The breakfast table is skirted in a mossy botanical cloth under a gold chandelier, a softer note against all the hard kitchen surfaces around it.
