How fees, packages, procurement and trades work on an LAH Interiors project.

Design fees
Design services are charged by the hour and billed in pre-paid time packages, sized to your scope of work. The minimum package is twenty hours.
Hours are drawn down against the package as they are worked. When a package runs low we will tell you before further time is booked, so you always know where the budget stands.
Starting a project
A project begins with a discovery call and a paid in-home consultation. Work on your design plan starts once a signed contract and the design deposit are in place.
The in-home consultation is charged separately from your design package and is payable whether or not the project goes ahead.
The design plan
Following measure and trade day you will receive floor plans, a mood board and an investment proposal covering the furnishings, finishes and labour anticipated for your scope.
The investment proposal is an estimate based on the specification agreed at that point. Where a selection changes, or a price moves at the supplier, we will confirm the revised figure with you in writing before anything is ordered.
Procurement
Furnishings and materials are ordered once the design plan has been approved and payment for those items has been received. Lead times are set by the maker or supplier, not by this studio, and are given in good faith as estimates.
Custom and made-to-order pieces cannot be returned or cancelled once the order is placed.
Contractors and trades
You are welcome to choose your own contractors and trade specialists, or to work with the network this studio has built and trusts.
Where you appoint a contractor directly, your agreement is with that contractor. LAH Interiors coordinates the design intent with them, but is not responsible for their pricing, programme or workmanship.
Photography
Completed projects may be photographed for the portfolio, social media and press. Photography is only arranged with your prior agreement, and your name and address are never published.
